THE KIMBER RESEARCH GROUP
THE CURRENT GROUP
Postgraduate students
Grzegorz Wardas - 2nd year PhD candidate
Greg obtained his MChem in 2022 from Loughborough University. After doing his MChem project in the Kimber lab, Greg returned to undertake PhD studies on a joint project in the laboratories of Dr. Paul Roach and the Kimber group. The project will centre on the development of novel 'lab-on-a-chip' technology for drug development applications.
Xinran Ge - 3rd year PhD candidate
Xinran (Jackie) completed his MSc at Loughborough in 2021 and joined the group in January 2022 to undertake his PhD studies on harnessing symmetry in polycyclic ether synthesis (with Dr. Gareth J. Pritchard)
Harvey Craddock-Monroe - 3rd year candidate
Harvey completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Leicester in 2020 and joined the group in October 2020 on a ESPRC funded CDT-SuSHy project on the Rationale design and synthesis of new odour agents, base on [1.1.1]-propellane, for use in hydrogen storage (with Dr. Gareth J. Pritchard).
MChem project students
Matthew Bill - MChem project
Matthew is investigating the synthesis of innovative bioisosteres for ortho- and meta-disubstituted arenes (with Dr. Gareth J. Pritchard).
